If you have read my previous blogs under ‘FOOD TRIP’ category, you will know that one of my favorite restos here in CDOC is the THAI ME UP! I love the ambience, the bossa nova music, the staff, and most importantly, the food!
Now, there’s something new there! The opening of FIL ME UP! They are now offering filipino cuisines to all filipino food lovers!
…And it’s their GRAND OPENING tomorrow!
… and the CDOBloggers will be there!
Let’s see if I would love their Filipino offerings as much as I love their Thai cuisines.
Thank you FIL ME UP/ THAI ME UP and Chiq Montes for the invitation.
Aw. I missed the first 3 runs this year. Bad. Got so busy with work and school, I did not have time to train and join the runs.
Good thing is that there’s another run coming up this month and I certainly don’t want to miss this. I’m gonna prepare myself for this.

The CDOBloggers will be having an outreach program and feeding activity on December 2, 2011 at Cadayunan Primary School, a newly opened public school in Besigan. Besigan is 52 kilometers away from the Cagayan de Oro city proper and most of the people in the area are farmers with no regular transportation except dump trucks from the city government which help transport their farm products. Before Cadayunan Primary School was approved last March 2011, children had to walk 12 kilometers everyday to and from the nearest school resulting to most of them skipping school and eventually stop.
Recently opened last June 2011, Besigan is blessed to have this newly opened school and children now are able to access education. Currently, the school has 60+ pupils and 2 teachers. The school is really in need of learning materials which will aid pupils’ learning and aid teachers’ instruction.
All the CDOBloggers members have already pledged to donate for this outreach program but we still need contributions of any kind. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to help or take part of this outreach. And to our fellow bloggers and netizens we also accept donations through paypal (email@example.com).

After its Eco Run last September, RED CROSS is organizing another running event for this year! Same as with before, it’s for a good cause. The MILLION VOLUNTEER RUN hopes to “empower Filipinos against the dangers of disasters by training first responders and blood donors in preparation for any catastrophic event.”
It will be on December 4, 2011 with a registration fee of P500.00 for the 5K run. It includes Red Cross 143 ID Card, Million Volunteer Run T-Shirt, Whistle, and Race Bib. Plus, I love the route!
Hopefully, they will organize it better this time. I do not want what happened during the Eco Run to happen again.
